The materials of die-casting molds are mainly steel molds and aluminum molds. There are steel molds and copper molds for injection molds. Like aluminum molds and copper molds, there are no restrictions in this regard, such as PE, Products such as PVC often use copper molds.

Die-casting die is a method of casting liquid die forging, a process completed on a dedicated die-casting die forging machine. Precautions for maintenance and repair of zinc alloy die-casting molds:

(1) For vulnerable parts, such as ejector pins, cores, etc., carefully check for bending, cracks, etc. If there are, replace them in time. In many cases, when the mold is reproduced, the core is broken without completing many molds. , Most of the reasons are not carefully checked and problems are not discovered in advance, resulting in a great waste of manpower and time.

(2) The polishing zinc alloy die-casting mold needs to be supplemented. Where there is sticky aluminum and carbon deposits, it is polished to minimize the wear and tear on the mold caused by polishing.

(3) Lubrication and anti-rust treatment should be performed on all moving parts of the mold, joint parts, screws, etc.

(4) Die-casting mold management personnel shall supervise the maintenance status at any time, pay attention to other management details, and make maintenance and repair records for inquiries.

(5) The storage of molds should be consistent with accounts, drawings, files, etc. The molds cannot be disassembled and stored to avoid the loss of parts. Zinc alloy die-casting molds that have not been used for a long time should be regularly treated for rust prevention. The new mold should be treated with stress relief as much as possible within the specified period to prolong its service life.
